Template visibility allows you to choose where you want to save the template. Template can be visible only to you, or shared with your teammates using Project or Global scopes.
Preselected scope is always suggested from current context but you can change it any time.

Write your response content with needed macros in it. Content will be resolved using issue context after you insert it in a comment.

Quick template actions inside templates dropdown allow you to execute the most frequent operations without leaving the comment field.

Canned Responses for Jira settings page allows you to manage templates in a more comprehensive way than inline actions. In addition, you can clone and remove templates here.
Click the Cog icon next to Canned Responses templates selector to open the plugin settings page.
